E-Bully Youth ATVs Recalled for Serious Safety Hazards
E-Bully Youth ATVs Recalled for Serious Safety Hazards
A new recall issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is raising serious concerns for families across the country. Lil Pick Up Inc. has recalled approximately 1,300 E-Bully Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) due to major safety hazards that could lead to severe injuries or even death.
At KBD Attorneys, we’ve covered dangerous products like these before—especially when children are the ones at risk. We also handle car, truck, and ATV accident cases nationwide. Below, we explain what’s wrong with the recalled vehicles, what you can do next, and how we can help if your child has been hurt.
The Recalled Product: E-Bully Youth Electric ATVs
The recall affects E-Bully Youth Electric 1000W ATVs, sold under various brand names such as “Seangles” and “Offroad Mall.” These vehicles were marketed toward young riders and sold in multiple colors—blue, green, white, red, and black.
The affected models were sold online from September 2023 through October 2024 on popular websites including Amazon.com, Ebay.com, and Seangles.com for around $1,000. The model name “E-Bully” can be found on the VIN plate on the right front side of the frame column. Another plate on the left front side states: “This ATV is subject to LIL PICK UP INC’s Action Plan approved by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.”
What’s the Danger?
According to the CPSC, these ATVs violate the mandatory federal safety standards for youth ATVs in several serious ways:
- Handlebar Hazard: The handlebars can cause laceration injuries if a child’s body or head strikes them at a high speed.
- Brake Failure: The parking brake does not hold, creating a collision hazard that could result in a crash, especially on inclines.
These defects could cause catastrophic injuries or death during regular use. The fact that these products are intended for children makes the risks even more alarming.
What Should You Do If You Own One?
If you purchased an E-Bully Youth ATV, stop using it immediately. Do not let your child ride it until the manufacturer has made the necessary safety repairs.
The manufacturer, Lil Pick Up Inc. of Rowland Heights, California, is offering a free repair through an authorized repair shop. Consumers are urged to contact the company for more information about how to proceed. Although no injuries have been reported yet, the recall is proactive—and serious.
Why This Matters
Recalls like this are a stark reminder of the risks many consumer products pose to families—especially those sold online without sufficient regulation or safety enforcement. Too often, products imported from overseas are not properly tested before being marketed to American consumers.
The manufacturer of these ATVs, Shandong ODES Industry Co. Ltd. of China, has a responsibility to ensure products meet U.S. safety regulations before reaching children’s hands. The fact that these units failed on such basic safety components suggests a breakdown in quality control—and puts parents in a dangerous position.
KBD Attorneys Has Been Here Before
At KBD Attorneys, we’ve written extensively about defective children’s products sold on popular platforms like Amazon.
We’ve also handled serious vehicle accident claims, including those involving:
- Truck crashes
- Car accidents
- Off-road vehicle injuries
- Child safety product failures
Our legal team fights to hold manufacturers, importers, and sellers accountable when safety takes a backseat to profit. We understand how devastating these injuries can be—especially when they involve children who trusted the product and their parents who thought they were buying something safe.
What to Do If Your Child Was Hurt
If your child was injured while using an E-Bully ATV—or any other defective or unsafe recreational vehicle—you may be eligible to take legal action. Even if a product has been recalled, that doesn’t erase responsibility for harm it caused.
Here’s what you should do:
- Preserve the ATV and Documentation: Keep the ATV in its current state and save purchase records, product packaging, and any manuals or receipts.
- Document the Injury: Take detailed photos of injuries, medical records, and any other documentation showing the severity of the incident.
- Contact an Attorney: Speak with a product liability lawyer to discuss your legal options. At KBD Attorneys, we offer free consultations to help families understand whether they have a case.
