Recall of Dangerous Baby Bath Seats

At KBD Attorneys, our mission is simple: protect families and hold companies accountable when their products put children at risk. That mission is especially important when it comes to baby products. Parents should never have to worry that something meant to help them care for their baby could lead to danger or even tragedy.

That’s why we want every parent to know about a serious new recall that affects baby bath seats sold online, including on Amazon. If you or someone you know bought a Bebamour baby bath seat, please keep reading. This recall affects more than 1,300 units, and although no injuries have been reported yet, the risk is real—and severe.

What’s Being Recalled?

The product being recalled is the Bebamour baby bath seat, model number T186. You’ll find that number on the tracking label located behind the backrest. These seats are about 14 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 9 inches high. They are sold only in green and include four big suction cups and three colorful bath toys.

The seat also has a handle with a button in the middle that sprays water, and there are star designs printed on the seat. If your baby has used this bath seat, stop using it immediately.

These seats were sold between May 2024 and February 2025 for $20 to $40 on Bebamour.com and Amazon.com.

Why Is It So Dangerous?

The United States has very strict rules about baby bath seats to help keep children safe. These rules are based on real-life tragedies where children were hurt or killed using unstable or poorly made bath products. The Bebamour baby bath seat violates these federal safety rules in two dangerous ways:

  1. It’s unstable and can tip over while in use.

  2. The leg openings are too wide, which means a baby can slip through and fall into the water.

Even just a few inches of water can be deadly for a baby. A bath seat tipping over, or a child slipping out unnoticed, can quickly lead to drowning or other serious injuries. That’s why this recall is so important.

What Should You Do if You Own One?

If you have this product in your home, stop using it right away.

To get a refund, Bebamour is asking parents to send a photo of the product and email amanda@babyleading.com. Once that’s done, they will provide instructions on how to throw the product away safely and give you a full refund.

Bebamour and Amazon are also working to contact anyone who bought the product directly, but even if you haven’t received a notice, it’s important to act quickly.

KBD Attorneys Stands with Parents

At KBD Attorneys, we know how frightening it can be to discover a product you trusted with your child’s safety is now considered dangerous. That’s why we fight hard every day to protect families across the country. We’ve worked on Amazon product injury cases, and we know how common it is for unsafe products—especially baby items—to make their way onto the online marketplace.

Too often, products from overseas manufacturers fail to meet U.S. safety standards. But when those products harm children, the companies must be held accountable.

This baby bath seat recall may not have caused any reported injuries—yet. But we believe you shouldn’t have to wait for tragedy to strike to demand justice or change.

If your child was hurt by a recalled or unsafe product, you are not alone. Our baby injury attorneys can help you understand your rights, investigate the facts, and fight for justice.

We’ve helped families recover from the unthinkable—choking incidents, head injuries, burns, and more—all caused by products that were supposed to be safe.

This Is More Than a Recall—It’s a Wake-Up Call

It’s easy to think that buying a product from a well-known website like Amazon means it’s been tested and approved. But many parents don’t realize that Amazon acts as a marketplace, not always a direct seller. That means unsafe products can slip through the cracks, especially when they’re made by small or foreign manufacturers that don’t follow U.S. safety laws.

That’s why our team at KBD Attorneys has made holding online sellers and manufacturers accountable a key part of our work. We stay on top of product recalls like this one so families don’t have to navigate it alone.

What Can Staff Shortages and Poor Oversight Lead To?

This recall also highlights a bigger issue in the baby product market: lack of oversight and responsibility. When companies are more focused on selling quickly than selling safely, quality control suffers.

And like we’ve seen in nursing homes, staff shortages, poor design, and rushed production can lead to dangerous mistakes. That’s why we believe every parent deserves to know what went wrong—and what can be done about it.

No family should ever have to face an injury or loss that could have been prevented.

Protecting Your Child’s Future

At KBD Attorneys, we’re more than a law firm. We’re advocates for safer products and stronger protections for families. Whether it’s a recalled baby product, a defective toy, or a dangerous product sold on Amazon, our team is here to help you get answers—and results.

We encourage all parents to check their homes regularly for recalled products and to stay informed through trustworthy sources. If you’re ever unsure, reach out. We can help you figure out if a product in your home is part of a recall, and what your options are if it caused harm.

Final Thoughts

The Bebamour baby bath seat recall is a serious reminder that even the most innocent-looking baby products can pose real danger. Thanks to quick action by safety officials, this seat is now off the market. But for the 1,300+ families who purchased it, there’s still work to be done.

If your family is affected—or if you just want help navigating baby product safety—KBD Attorneys is here to stand by your side. Your child’s safety is our mission.
