MOEYURO Youth ATVs Pose Deadly Risks
CPSC Issues Urgent Warning: MOEYURO Youth ATVs Pose Deadly Crash and Laceration Risks
Unsafe Electric ATVs Sold on Amazon Violate Federal Safety Standards, Endangering Children
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued another serious warning to parents — this time about MOEYURO youth electric ATVs, which pose crash, collision, and laceration hazards to young riders.
According to the CPSC’s October 23, 2025 safety notice, about 280 of these defective youth ATVs were sold on Amazon and other online retailers between May and September 2025, priced between $496 and $620.
The seller, Zengxuebo, doing business as ZeTachenUS, has refused to issue a recall or provide remedies, leaving families at risk.
Why These ATVs Are So Dangerous
The CPSC found that MOEYURO ATVs violate multiple mandatory safety standards for youth models, including:
- Failure to meet mechanical suspension requirements, increasing crash risks.
- Faulty parking brakes that do not hold properly, allowing rollaway incidents.
- Sharp handlebars that can cause serious lacerations or head injuries if a child crashes.
- Missing safety reflectors, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of collision with other vehicles.
- No CPSC-approved ATV action plan, which is required by law for all ATV manufacturers and distributors in the U.S.
These violations make the MOEYURO youth ATV not only unsafe, but illegal to sell under U.S. federal standards.
Sold as “Kid-Friendly,” but Anything But Safe
The MOEYURO youth ATVs were marketed for children ages 5 and up and equipped with a 36V, 500W electric motor. The vehicles were sold in black, blue spider, ice-fire, and red designs, with white-spotted handlebar covers but no identifiable labeling or branding — a red flag for counterfeit or noncompliant imports.
Parents were led to believe these ATVs were suitable for young riders. In reality, they lack even the most basic safety protections, making them a potential death trap for children.
The Bigger Picture: Hundreds of ATV Deaths Each Year
According to the CPSC, off-highway vehicles (OHVs) — including ATVs — are linked to more than 800 deaths and about 100,000 emergency room injuries annually. Many of these tragedies involve young riders and unregulated, imported ATVs that fail to meet U.S. safety standards.
When sellers like ZeTachenUS refuse to cooperate with recalls, families are left with unsafe products and no recourse — until something goes terribly wrong.
KBD Attorneys Warns Families About Unsafe ATVs
At Ketterer, Browne & Davani, LLC, (KBD) Attorneys, we’ve repeatedly warned consumers about unsafe ATVs being sold through Amazon, Temu, and other third-party marketplaces. These online platforms have become a breeding ground for dangerous, unregulated vehicles disguised as affordable alternatives.
When manufacturers ignore U.S. safety laws, the consequences can be catastrophic. Families trust that products sold online meet basic standards — but as this latest CPSC alert proves, that trust is often misplaced.
If You Purchased a MOEYURO Youth ATV
Consumers should stop using the MOEYURO youth ATVs immediately and dispose of them properly. Do not resell or donate the product, as it remains unsafe for anyone to operate.
If a child or family member has been injured by one of these ATVs, contact KBD Attorneys. Our firm investigates defective vehicle cases and holds manufacturers, importers, and sellers accountable when their negligence puts children in danger.
We help families:
- Investigate ATV defects and design failures
- Pursue compensation for injuries, medical expenses, and emotional trauma
- Advocate for stronger regulations on imported and youth vehicles
Other ATV Recalls and Safety Warnings
KBD has covered several recent ATV and off-road vehicle recalls to help spread awareness and prevent further injuries. (You can insert your other ATV-related blogs here.)
Examples include recalls and warnings about:
- Defective youth electric ATVs sold online without safety plans
- Off-brand vehicles violating CPSC standards for brakes and visibility
- Unsafe children’s off-road vehicles imported without inspection
Each of these cases underscores the urgent need for greater oversight of imported recreational vehicles and accountability for online retailers profiting from unsafe products.
Stay Alert, Stay Protected
As these recalls show, low-cost online listings often hide high-risk hazards. Before buying any electric ATV or off-road toy for a child, check the CPSC’s recall database and ensure the product complies with federal safety standards.
At Ketterer, Browne & Davani, LLC, we stand with families harmed by defective and dangerous consumer products. When manufacturers cut corners, we fight to make them pay — and to protect others from the same fate.
