I. Paralegal – Remote
The ideal candidate will have experience with all facets of civil litigation, including electronic filing and calendaring deadlines. The candidate must be organized, tech savvy, and familiar with Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro. This position requires some client interaction so the candidate must be friendly and personable. Experience responding to discovery and with California filings a plus but not required. This is a remote position although some in person contact may be an option or occasionally a requirement with plenty of notice. The candidate must be equipped for remote work. Daily start times and end times are negotiable. Starting salary depends on experience.
II. Associate/Partner
KBA Attorneys seek a Litigation/Trial Attorney
We seek an associate to join our litigation team. This VA, DC, or MD-licensed lawyer will work nursing home, trucking, and other catastrophic injury cases from start to finish. This attorney will work from home and meet with our attorneys and legal teams periodically.
- What we’re looking for: an ambitious client advocate. Someone who appreciates the big picture. A problem-solving, creative, hungry lawyer eager to obtain justice. Candidate must have experience taking and defending depositions, be intimately familiar with the Rules of Civil Procedure, and should have experience working up complex personal injury matters. Familiarity handling nursing home cases and medical malpractice claims is preferred, as is experience in working with experts and developing expert disclosures/reports.

- What we will ask you to do: speak to clients, investigate and vet cases, draft demand letters, file lawsuits, conduct discovery, depose witnesses and experts, and try cases.
This is a full-time position. The plan is to have you help with existing cases and have you take on your own caseload. We require attention to detail, good research skills, self-direction, and for you to have high standards and commitment to the clients, ethics, and learning. We will expect you to meet deadlines and furnish work product that has been proofread, something you would file with the Court.

III. Marketing Director/Manager/Associate
We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Marketing Leader!
Help us redefine our marketing landscape. We seek a proactive, driven individual to spearhead our marketing strategies. This includes the following: managing PPC, social media campaigns, and other initiatives; overseeing marketing-related vendors; producing and overseeing multi-media content; and organizing both virtual and live events.
