Emily Vassil is an associate at Ketterer, Browne and Associates, LLC. What sets her apart is an unfettered work ethic and passion for fighting for what’s right.
Ms. Vassil’s practice focuses on nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, and other types of personal injury matters. She is driven by the ability to change clients’ lives for the better. Prior to joining KBA, she had the privilege of representing hundreds of mass tort and pharmaceutical plaintiffs in state and federal court at two prominent nationwide law firms. Her experience in mass tort, fighting billion dollar corporations, laid a solid foundation for litigating single event cases.
She earned her JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Canada-United States Law Journal. While in law school, she gained meaningful labor and employment law experience as a Peggy Browning fellow at the American Federation for Government Employees in Washington, DC. As a third-year law student, Ms. Vassil represented indigent criminal defendants in Cuyahoga County, including trying cases to verdict.
When not aggressively advocating on behalf of clients, Ms. Vassil volunteers for the Central Union Mission, an organization attempting to eradicate homelessness. She also enjoys coaching Junior Olympic volleyball.
